Program for the students
Thursday 12th of september
Foodmarket for small children in the City, just outside Vikgården.
This will be organized from the students of first year at the Restaurant and food industry program.
They will teach them to make small soft cakes, and serve them with sour cream and jam. They will also have small salmon wraps.
The second-year students at Restaurant and food industry program will profile local food at the shops of Rema, in Mosjøen.
REMA 1000 is Norway's leading grocery chain and one of the country's strongest brands.
They will serve chefs for three days, with presentations.
Friday 13th of september
This day we will be honored to have Roderic Sloan, Pierre Koffman, Paul Cunningham and Andrè Misund from Bama , to teach the students how to prepare shellfish, theoretical and practical.
We have prepared lunch for all our guests.
In the afternoon, we will have a student’s competition. It will be Norway against Sweden.
The judges are Cunningham, Sloan, Atle Edvartsen/ Sparebank1, one of our sponsors and Koffman.
Saturday 14th September
Here the students will attend at Kulturverkstedet, to join the various speakers.
Some of them will also work as waiters under the spectacular dinner in the evenings, both Saturday and Sunday.
Sunday 15th september
This day we will have a workshop with Niklas Ekstedt, in the kitchen at the school.
