The owners - Hallbjørn and Bente - have been close supporters of ArktiskMat for many years, contributing countless hours of work, inspiring ideas, welcoming spaces, and a warm authentic atmosphere.
Located in the heart of historic Sjøgata, the newly opened Barthbryggo Restaurant and Huset i Gato Wine Bar sit among some of Northern Norway’s best-preserved 19th-century wooden buildings. Since the project began in 2023, the development of the property has been guided by careful, intentional choices, with a strong emphasis on respecting and preserving the building’s history.
During this year’s symposium, Barthbryggo’s garden tent will set the stage for the dinner events, giving guests the chance to experience one of Nordland’s newest culinary destinations. On Friday, the kitchen team will warmly welcome guests with a menu that reflects the place, its surroundings, and the philosophy behind it.
